IT HAPPENED
It’s
like you are walking alone eternally through a dusty road, on a sunny afternoon. You
got a fair idea about your destiny and are passionate about reaching it soon. You know it's where you belong to. 'coz it's where your soul is rested. A
passion seen in the eyes squinted now in the light. There are other people on the road too. They look at you with familiar faces. They notice that you are weary with perspiration
dripping down. But they say nothing to you. You move on with the same
pace as if all that dirt makes but little difference. Each step is a prayer for
many more weary days and gloomy riders.
You
don’t remember for how long you have been here. You are lost out in the world facing the winds
on your face. You don’t remember a time when your pace was slow. You don’t remember
a time when the winds of change didn’t blow. The buzz around has just been the
same. You reach a place you have reached before.
And
it rains in between when you get stranded in a flood. still, you wade through the gushy
waters but you don’t stop moving. You close your eyes, you see nothing
different. It’s the same darkness within of what is around. It’s the ultimate conjugation
of the one within with the universe around. Like approaching infinity. It’s a State. And you
wonder if you have reached your destiny. Would you now stop walking?
Comments
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
